    A good example of an antique Persian fighting knife called
    Pesh Kabz.
    The straight, hand forged blade is T section and is wide at the hilt,
    tapering evenly to a slender point. The sturdy hilt is designed for a grip that allows for a  strong thrusting action. The hilt
    is hard wood and is designed without guard or pommel. The basic design is for forcing an opening in chain mail and is well designed for that purpose,
